A champion's story

Here is Vanessa's story:
"Sports have always been my passion! I started competitive sports at a very young age and managed to make it a career. Working in sports management was a dream for me!
Over time, I felt like something was slipping away from me. I loved what I was doing, I had a good salary and good benefits, but I felt that I was less and less in my rightful place. I needed a new professional challenge, and at the same time, I wanted to be more present in the lives of my children.
In 2017, I resigned from my job in order to start my own business. Since movement has always been at the core of my life, I used this passion to create a company that promotes physical activity through GymFIT and yoga classes. This decision stirred up a lot of fears and questions in me. I even went back to university to do a certificate in business management during my third pregnancy.
Today, I am 40 years old, I am the mother of 3 children, and I can say that I am finally in my element. My work schedule is atypical, but it allows me to be present for the important moments in the life of my children. My challenge is to strike and maintain a balance between my professional ambitions and quality time with my family. To that end, I have developed the habit, in the moments when I have to make a decision, of asking myself if what I am doing is in line with the life I want? This simple question allows me to readjust my path when I stray from my goals!
